ARTIST STATEMENT Eva works primarily through the mediums of oil painting, photography, video and performance. Eva has been part of both personal and group exhibitions, various institutional and alternative event spaces. Eva's painting work is both figurative and anthropocentric. She uses performative action when painting from nature in order to capture the special qualities of her model's individuality. She involves the model as much as possible in the painting, attempting to capture and understand what aliveness is.
