	ARTIST STATEMENT Paula's work is internationally known. She has embraced many subjects from the rhythm of music to the rights of women. In this new body of work she has used the simplicity and sensuality of her line to capture the intertwined female form to create this fabulous collection of erotica.

Throughout the centuries women have been represented in art predominantly through the 'male gaze', or from a man's point of view.

The Sapphosophy Archive hopes to show another perspective, 'the female gaze', or the women's point of view, by publishing lesbian comment on imagery in art, we hope to address the imbalance in art documentation.
